Poor physical health days – the number of days in the previous 30 when a person indicates their activities are limited due to physical health difficulties – has held relatively steady in recent years.

This is a general indication of the population’s physical ability to function on a day-to-day basis.

The self-reported data relies on the accuracy of each respondent’s estimate of the number of limited activity days in the previous 30 days. The ranks and based on data from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
