Highlights
  • Frequent mental distress increased 27% from 14.6% to 18.6% of women ages 18-44 between 2015-2016 and 2018-2019
  • Early childhood education enrollment increased 12% from 42.6% to 47.5% of children ages 3-4 between 2016 and 2019
  • Smoking during pregnancy decreased 33% from 8.0% to 5.4% of live births between 2014 and 2019
  • Teen suicide increased 38% from 11.4 to 15.7 deaths per 100,000 adolescents ages 15-19 between 2012-2014 and 2017-2019
